We hosted a convening for Justice Reinvestment Equity Program grantees in Pendleton, Oregon last week. Highlights included: - A Trust-Building workshop led by Janet Soto Rodriguez - Breakout sessions on community healing, safety and advocacy - Hearing from local leaders - Visiting Tamastslikt Cultural Institute, Oregon Washington health Network and Nixyaawii Governance Center - A day spent exploring tools for navigating the emotional demands of providing violence prevention and reduction, victim and survivor services, reentry and diversion services Big shout out to our grantees for the incredible work they're doing to reduce incarceration and racial disparities in the criminal legal system, promote healing and advance community safety in Oregon!
