Project Distributing Dignity

Follow Message Edit

Started by students, for students Project Distributing Dignity is fighting the war against period poverty on the Pine Ridge Reservation. 90% of girls cannot afford menstrual products, and many will skip school out of embarrassment. After awhile, girls will drop out of school as they have fallen so far behind. The dropout rate on the reservation is 70%! Our mission is to provide a basic human need so girls can keep their dignity, stay in school and graduate. A period should not be a barrier to an education.

Project Distributing Dignity

Project Distributing Dignity is growing, and we are excited to expand our reach this year. In addition to our ongoing support for the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, we are now partnering with other organizations to aid the Navajo Nation, the Rosebud Sicangu Lakota Reservation, and the Standing Rock Reservation. As we extend our services, we need your help to prepare and pack the supplies that will be delivered to these communities.
