OUR MISSION: The National Youth Foundation is dedicated to enriching the lives of children through creative educational programming. Our mission is to promote tolerance and equality while helping young students develop their literary skills through academic and team building projects. WHAT WE DO: The National Youth Foundation has three core programs. First, collaborating with professional athletes from the NFL and the NBA, the National Youth Foundation administers the Student Book Scholars team writing contest. Second, we created the Amazing Women’s Edition competition for students to share stories of heroines in their communities. Third, we visit cities and towns across the country and team up with community centers and schools to host Youth Writing Workshops.
