The Ocracoke Foundation is a community based non-profit whose mission is community revitalization through the responsible promotion and use of Ocracoke’s assets, whereby the needs of the community - educational, economic, social, and infrastructure - are supported through funding and/or developmental assistance. Areas of focus include, but are not limited to: affordable housing, economic development, preserving historic and cultural traditions.
