At the beginning of the month, Reef Relief’s educators journeyed with students from Grace Lutheran School Key West to the @drytortugasnps As the final adventure in our Discover Coral Reefs Middle School program, the students joined us to explore the stunning natural and historical features of the park (topics they have learned about over the school year through in person lessons by Reef Relief). At the park, they took a tour of Fort Jefferson and participated in a snorkel and swim led by Reef Relief. Throughout the trip, we brought classroom lessons to life-connecting everything we’ve studied over the year with hands-on experiences in the field.
