St. James School
St. James is a K-8 Catholic elementary school in the Dominican tradition, nestled between the Mission District and Noe Valley, two of San Francisco's most dynamic and vibrant communities. Generations of San Franciscans have attended St. James; today, 150 students represent the best of our school community. St. James educators challenge students to recognize their gifts, and guide them to be people of action in an atmosphere of inclusion and empathy. Students are empowered to be advocates in their learning, to ask profound questions and seek out meaningful answers. St. James School champions students to reach their full potential by fostering the development of the whole child, enabling our young people to grow as positive contributing members of the Church and society.
