Book Exchange of Marin

The mission of the Book Exchange of Marin is to promote child literacy, encourage a love of reading, and work to ensure that all children from Marin’s most under-resourced communities have access to free books. The Book Exchange is unique in Marin. Our all-volunteer non-profit organization collects, organizes, and distributes gently used and new books to pre-k, elementary, and middle school students. Our major program is providing literacy field trips to our Terra Linda facility. The schools we serve have at least 85% low-income students, and many have 90-100%.
