The Mission of the Worklife Institute is to promote and facilitate the highest quality of worklife, providing tools and resources for area residents and their families, workplaces and communities. Worklife Institute has been providing comprehensive quality of worklife consultative services to the greater Gulf Coast Area since its founding in 1988. These services focus on career and vocational transition, workforce readiness training, supportive counseling, employee assistance and mediation training. These services provided the basis for our Texas Veterans Worklife Transition Program which was formed in 2008 to fulfill ongoing unmet needs of the Gulf Coast's military veterans and families specifically where the expertise and effectiveness of the Institute had been successfully established.
