SPINDLETOP CENTER
Our mission is to help people help themselves by providing resources and support. Spindletop Center is a public, nonprofit, 501 (c)(3) organization that is the local mental health (MH) authority and the local intellectual developmental disabilities (IDD) authority for Chambers, Hardin, Jefferson, and Orange Counties in Southeast Texas. The authority designation was determined by the Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS). Spindletop Center provides supported housing programs and mental health services, including family and individual counseling to children and adults, alcohol and substance abuse services, and developmental disabilities services in Chambers, Hardin, Jefferson, and Orange counties.
