The research particularly highlights how these crises disproportionately affect incarcerated women with disabilities Bound Knowledge The Impact of Book Bans on Incarcerated Women and LGBTQIA People in Texas This report created in collaboration with Lioness Justice Impacted Womens Alliance and the civil rights clinics at The University of Texas and Texas AM University examines how prison policies restrict access to books and this impacts incarcerated women and the LBGTQIA community. Incarcerated Members Published Work The published writings of our incarcerated members are a testament to resilience truth and resistance. Through storytelling they reclaim agency document lived experiences and build solidarity and ensure that the voices of those inside are heard valued and impossible to ignore.
