The Association for Learning and Mentoring Services, Inc's (ALMS) mission is to empower the youth and adults of New York, Rockland, Essex, and Hudson Counties to take responsibility for themselves and their communities through programs and services that promote positive social and civic values; to create opportunities of self-improvement through community volunteer projects, job-training, and educational assistance; and to implement intervention strategies designed to foster stabilization and neighborhood preservation.
