Beyond bricks and mortar this is a journey of compassion community and the incredible power of building not just houses but homes. In the beginning Build A Home set out with a simple missionto gift deserving families a haven of safety and comfort. What emerged is now a 501c3 nonprofit organization fueled by the compassionate efforts of the First United Methodist Church in Portland.
