IPAA provides underprivileged youth with resources in the arts and education. Through education, young students will enrich their lives, maturation and development as responsible, productive members of our community. IPAA provides music classes, a youth arts and an after-school tutoring program to children of homeless families in the Los Angeles Skid Row community. IPAA works to develop the artistic talents of our local underprivileged youth into full artistic expression. In the disciplines of music, dance and theatre, the academy's two-fold purpose is: A. To provide a systematic approach to creative development through education and training. B. To provide opportunities for expression of developed talent in a performance environment.
