North Fork Ambulance Auxiliary | Formed July 1, 2019 North Fork Ambulance Auxiliary Mission Statement The Past How we got here Before there were the sister agencies of the new Health Service District and North Fork Ambulance Auxiliary there was the North Fork Ambulance. From 1969 to 2019 the North Fork Ambulance provided reliable ambulance service and quality care with the fastest response time possible to the residents and visitors of the North Fork valley. Over the 50 years growing from just 60 calls per year to over 800 calls per year this service was funded through membership fees grants donations and ambulance transport fees. Until January of 2019 this vital service never received public funding.
