Forward Allies for Equity in Mental and Reproductive Health
Forward Allies for Equity in Mental and Reproductive Health is a Pittsburgh-based 501(c)3 with a mission to support birthing individuals, families, and communities by actively reducing barriers to quality reproductive mental health care through collaboration, education, training, and advocacy. Forward Allies achieves its mission through: 1) The Mental Health Fund which provides direct funding for birthing people to receive perinatal mental health care from a clinician qualified in reproductive mental health for up to 12 sessions. 2) Reproductive Mental Health Trainings that increase the number of providers qualified to provide reproductive mental health care. 3) Community engagement and advocacy that raise awareness and address systemic and reproductive injustice.
