The Actors39 Ensemble The Actors Ensemble The Actors Ensemble celebrates the heart of the theatre experience as it arises from the inspiration collaboration courage and discovery of artists who have devoted their lives to the performing arts. With a vision of a new theater inspired by Michael Chekhovs view of the actors vocation an approach to creative speech inspired by Rudolf Steiners vision for a future language art and an understanding of the actors craft the Ensemble has created original work which places the actor at the center of the storytelling experience. About The Actors Ensemble was founded in 1985 in New York City by a group of professional actors. Inspired by the acting techniques taught by the late actor Michael Chekhov the Ensemble began working together with the mission of developing the art of the actor and creating theater ensemble.
