Mission Capital is a U.S. nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing equity and opportunity in the Central Texas nonprofit sector. The organization focuses on collaboration, leadership development, customized trainings, strategic consulting, and fostering a culture that supports community-wide growth.

History

Mission Capital has its roots as Greenlights, which has been involved in strengthening and serving nonprofit organizations for over two decades. After a period of strategic planning, a merger, and a brand reassessment, the organization transformed into Mission Capital, symbolizing a bold new path focused on community problem-solving and introducing the concept of "mission capital" as a convergence of various forms of capital aimed at empowering mission-driven organizations.

Mission and Vision

The mission of Mission Capital is to equip and connect mission-driven leaders, organizations, and networks to advance equity and opportunity. The vision is for a Central Texas where all have access to opportunities and can thrive. Key goals include closing the racial leadership gap in the social sector, increasing organizational resilience, and strengthening collaborative networks.

Services and Programs

Mission Capital offers a range of programs and services, including workshops on topics like board essentials and revenue generation. They also provide membership options that include access to various training and networking events. Their initiatives are categorized into three pillars: Personal Transformation, Community Cultivation, and Organizational Resilience.
