Popeye had an amazing, wonderful doggie day out with Matti!! Thank you for taking him .. he looks so happy 💕🤗 This sweet boy has been waiting SO long for his forever family!! Read all about his wonderful day and come meet this handsome and sweet boy at Manatee County Animal Welfare!! Today we took Popeye out for the day from the shelter at Manatee County Animal Welfare. He is an absolute sweetheart. He LOVES car rides - especially the windows down. But also just likes laying down enjoying the ride! Very calm in the car. We took him to the pet store to pick out a toy and a treat. He walked like an angel in the store. Intrigued when seeing other dogs and people, but did not react! He deserved a Starbucks pup cup after that! 🐾 He loved his toy octopus - although he enjoyed destroying it even more. 😂 He also enjoyed having a long lasting bullystick to chew on for over 30 minutes! Rolling around on the bed and with the blanket was a highlight for him! He definitely misses having a soft place to sleep. We even got a couple kisses today! Oh- and he takes treats gentle from you too! If you are looking for a sweet boy that loves to play, explore and relax- Popeye would be perfect for you! Brought tears to my eyes bringing him back to the shelter. He’s been there for over two years now and is beyond deserving of a loving home and family!
