For this week's "Meet the Team," we're excited to introduce Libby House! Libby joined the StoryTellers Live team in 2022 and now serves as our Podcast Manager. She listens to every story from our gatherings, manages the podcast schedule, oversees intros and outros, and coordinates edits and show notes with our podcast editor. She and her husband, both Auburn grads, married in 1998 and have three kids: Robert (a senior at Auburn), Thomas (a sophomore at Ole Miss), and Celia (a freshman at Briarwood). Libby loves Pilates, needlepointing, and keeping up with her husband’s active social calendar—plus, she’s a total TV crime junkie! Libby, what’s your favorite part of your role at StoryTellers? "My favorite aspect of this job is listening to all the storytellers whose recordings are submitted from our live gatherings. It never gets old hearing women share what God has done in their lives. Working with the three hosts isn’t half-bad either!" How has the Lord been working in your life recently? "As a mom of 3 children, it is natural to worry about their future, friends, and overall well-being. I know I cannot control how God writes each of their stories, so I am constantly in prayer for my children. It has been humbling to see the Lord answer these prayers and show His love to my children. It’s easy to look back and see why He brought certain circumstances into each one of their lives, but it is so hard to trust that for the unseen future. Trusting in His plans for each of them is where I want to rest- free of angst!" A verse Libby has been clinging onto for years is 2 Corinthians 4:16-18: “So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal." (fb)
