Rising Phoenix Therapeutic Community & Rescue Center
The purpose of Rising Phoenix Therapeutic Community & Rescue Center (or Rising Phoenix for short)) is to provide support and treatment services to released offenders. Ideally, participants have successfully completed the incarcerated substance abuse therapeutic community (TC) experience in Casper or Lusk, or ITU in Newcastle and truly desire to maintain their sobriety in a supportive environment of other TC brothers or sisters and staff who understand the dynamics of not only having a history of addiction but also of having been incarcerated. With the development of the RISE program at the Natrona County Detention Center, the scope of Rising Phoenix was broadened to also provide services to those releasing from jail.
