The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research Foundation seeks to improve lives for people w/sustained central nervous system damage through injury or disease. TIRR Foundation seeks to improve the quality of life for people who have sustained neurological damage by supporting pioneering research programs and advancements in rehabilitative medicine, and educational programs. TIRR Foundation seeks to improve the recovery, health, and quality of life for people who have sustained a spinal cord or brain injury by funding innovative research to find a cure and fostering programs that advance rehabilitative medicine and quality of life. Through its two programs, Mission Connect and Moran Camp Xtreme, TIRR Foundation is advancing medical science, improving care, and enhancing the lives of those living with the consequences of a severe neurological injury. Mission Connect is a collaborative neurotrauma research program with more than 120 members from 18 premier institutions. Moran Camp Xtreme is an adaptive sports camp for children and young adults who use a wheelchair for mobility. Moran Camp Xtreme hosts four outstanding camps each year.
