Preston's has been an important gathering place in Belle Plaine and along the Lincoln Highway since 1923. Preston’s Station Historic District is focused on preserving and revitalizing the District. Working with local communities and non-profit organizations to educate and raise awareness of the historical significance of Preston’s Station, the City of Belle Plaine, Iowa, and the Lincoln Highway, while promoting the area as a tourist destination for all generations to enjoy.

Lincoln Highway Association's Middle Third Tour starts their trek through Iowa today. Belle Plaine and Preston's is the second stop for the tour tomorrow Friday, 6/20 (we anticipate the tour to arrive between 9:00-10:00a) on their way to Tama. It looks like there's 20 cars taking part in this tour.
