American Legion
The mission of American Legion Post 228 is to do volunteer activities within the community. One example of this is our work with the JROTC program at Georgetown ISD. We provide scholarships and a guest speaker each month of the school year for two days each month. We also provide organizations with Color Honor Guards. This past year we had a total of 12,800 hours of volunteer work within the community
