The Smith Mountain Lake Center is working toward creating a dynamic community hub at Westlake Cinema, expanding opportunities for arts, entertainment, and events. Westlake Cinema will continue operating as normal until at least early 2026, while we at the Center focus on our fundraising campaign to bring this vision to life. Movies will remain part of the experience, and we know how much the community cherishes the cinema. We are working closely with the theater to ensure its legacy continues in a new and exciting way.
