The San Diego Chorus performs award-winning, 4-part a cappella harmony in the barbershop style. Recently awarded 7th worldwide in the Sweet Adelines International Chorus Finals. Founded in 1951, the San Diego Chorus is a two-time International Champion. The SAN DIEGO CHORUS is an inspired group of women who sing a cappella 4-part harmony in the barbershop style. We are one of many chapters of SWEET ADELINES INTERNATIONAL and we compete in their regional and international competitions. We perform at various venues including assisted living facilities, schools, community and charity events. Membership provides opportunities to learn leadership and teamwork skills. These skills improve their confidence, help their careers, expand networking in their industry, and provide a constant source of joy in their lives, We spread this joy to young women by educating them about barbershop music and teaching them the skills to excel. There are choruses all over the United States and many other countries around the world.
