History

San Clemente Youth Wrestling was founded and initially directed by Mark “Cal” Calentino. Calentino, who is recognized for his contributions to wrestling, started the club in 2005 and led it until 2012. During this period, he also held the position of president of the Orange County Wrestling Coaches Association.

Mission and Activities

The organization aims to provide a supportive environment where young athletes can learn wrestling skills and develop essential life values. It encourages parents' involvement, offering opportunities for them to participate as coaches and spend quality time with their children on the mat.
