Tonight, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., Barksdale Air Force Base is hosting an open house at the Bossier Parish Central Library (7204 Hutchinson Dr., Bossier City) to learn about the AICUZ program. The AICUZ (Air Installations Compatible Use Zones) program aims to protect the health and safety of those living near military airfields, providing land use guidelines for areas affected by aircraft noise and flight operations. The open house will include informational displays and Air Force staff on hand to answer questions. All are welcome to attend and learn more about how the base and local communities can work together to promote safe and sustainable relationships. (fb)
