USHBF was formed for the purpose of public education and supporting public research in new or improved hemp products and applications. Among its specific objectives are the following: To encourage and support the investigation of new and dynamic uses of the hemp plant in the manufacture of hemp building materials; To educate the public about the many current and potential new uses of lawfully produced hemp and its derivatives in the production of building materials; and To encourage and support education and research about hemp building materials at institutions of higher education To encourage and support education and research about hemp building materials at institutions of higher education.
