Today we rallied outside of Congressmember Nicole Malliotakis’ office in Brooklyn with angry & concerned constituents, to demand accountability for her vote for massive cuts to Medicaid that will strip healthcare away from millions of people. These cuts to vital healthcare will cause needless, preventable suffering, worsening of health conditions & deaths, and will force people to use emergency resources for basic care at greater cost for worse outcomes. We urge every US Senator to vote against any cuts to Medicaid which is a literal lifeline for children, disabled people & seniors. Our nation should be providing universal, guaranteed healthcare for everyone through a single payer Medicare for All system, not on the verge of stripping healthcare away from our most vulnerable people.
