Memorial Day Weekend is coming up and Yosemite is truly gushing from the waterfalls to the spring foliage. Are you planning a trip this coming weekend? Plan ahead like a park ranger, to ensure that you and your group have a memorable Memorial Day for all the right reasons. A few important notes: Reservations are required to enter Yosemite National Park May 24 - 26, from 6 am to 2 pm. During this time you can enter the park with a peak-hours reservation, a wilderness permit, an in-park camping/lodging/vacation rental reservation, or a regional bus or tour group. Holiday weekends tend to be busier than normal. Please be respectful and be prepared for longer wait times. Having a back up plan or two could be good in case parking at popular locations is full. Hydration and fuel are essential. Packing a reusable water bottle and filling up in the park is a great way to stay hydrated. Have you ever visited Yosemite National Park during a holiday weekend in the summer season? What other friendly tips would you offer to your fellow travelers?
