South Florida Composers Alliance (SFCA)—is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit sound arts organization promoting Experimental Music and Sound Art with an emphasis on supporting creative projects by composers and sound artists from around the world since 1985. Its mission involves supporting living experimental artists and establishing Miami as a recognized center for research, development, production, presentation and understanding of creative artistic work with sound across disciplines. Its programs include the interdisciplinary Sound Arts Workshop (iSAW) and the Subtropics Experimental Festival of Music and the Sound Arts (subtropics.org)
