In the United States, 34.8 million children under the age of 17, which is 50% of American children, are exposed to adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and 60% of children have been exposed to crime & violence directly or indirectly, that can severely harm their future health and well-being. Children with traumatic experience are 15 times more likely to attempt suicide, 4 times more likely to become a drug addict or alcoholic and 3 times more likely to suffer from depression. PPIP mission is to improve the future of troubled youth from ages 10 to 25 by providing outreach services to learn and grow. Our services will provide educational and cultural enrichment, mentoring, life transformation skills which will help uplift their lives and show them a path to a better future for them.
