About the organization

The SnoKing Watershed Council started in 2008 as an adhoc organization working to protect and advocate for streams and watersheds in Snohomish and King Counties. We are still allvolunteer but evolved into a 501c3 nonprofit organization. We have the following programs SnoKing Water Watchers Volunteers in our communitybased water monitoring program gather water quality data on local streams and use it for stream protection and advocacy. Swamp Creek Habitat Restoration Project Volunteers remove invasive plants and plant native plants to benefit the Swamp Creek Watershed build community connections and raise awareness about climate and the environment.
