Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a nonprofit organization located in South Central Texas and is dedicated to the health, welfare and happiness of our dachshund friends. We are based in San Antonio, Texas. DIAMOND DACHSHUND RESCUE OF TEXAS' PRIMARY PURPOSE IS TO REHABILITATE AND FIND HOMES FOR ABANDONED AND ABUSED DACHSHUNDS. ITS OPERATIONS ARE BASED IN SAN ANTONIO AND AUSTIN AND PLACES DOGS THROUGHOUT CENTRAL TEXAS. NON-MEASURABLE ACHIEVEMENTS INCLUDE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC TO PREVENT CRUELTY TO ANIMALS AND ENCOURAGING SPAY/NEUTER PROGRAMS.
