While caring for Glory Belle during her final days, I crossed paths with another soul (Dr Jorge’s clinic) in desperate need — a dog so sick and malnourished, we couldn’t even tell if she was a puppy or a senior. She was brought into Dr. Jorge’s office by a family who had no means to care for her. Her body covered in untreated wounds, fleas, ticks, and she’s dangerously underweight. Her stomach is distended — possibly from fluid, infection, or pregnancy. I couldn’t turn her away. In the middle of my grief and heartbreak, I took her my care — and now I desperately need your help to give her the medical treatment she needs.
