A Nonprofit Organization which Creates and Maintains Safe and Healthy Rental Homes You Can Afford Homes First creates and maintains safe, healthy, and affordable rental homes for those who need them most. Since 1990, we have housed over 5,000 very low income community members in safe and permanent rental housing ensuring that people who need homes the most are not on the street and where they are treated with dignity and respect. We partner with local municipalities, national and local funders, and local banking institutions to buy, rehabilitate, and rent out healthy, safe, and affordable homes.
