The Foundation's primary purpose is to support other 501(c)(3) organizations and to provide scholarships and stipends to students in colleges or universities. The Foundation also issues cash awards to local teachers, schools and the local school district. No individual cash award is greater than $3,000 and total scholarship expense for this tax year was $12,000.

The Carson City School Districts Professional Development Center grant proposal Literacy Development and Love of Reading through Social Studies has been selected as this years Carson City Rotary 5000 Education Grant recipient. This project submitted by Brittany Witter includes purchasing of historicalnovels for each school site for grades 38.
