Any animal loving volunteers in Kona want to join the team at Three Ring Ranch? Looking for a couple more people to train as Keepers. A Keeper learns direct animal care and staffs shifts from 8 am to about 11:15. We feed daily of course and have multiple days in need. Training takes between 3-4 weeks during which a 3 time a week commitment is required. Once trained a Keeper can cover less shifts a week if they prefer. Keepers need to be in good physical condition, able to stay on their feet for 3 hrs, walk on uneven ground, lift, bend twist while feeding and caring for the residents. Keepers need to be able to learn a complex and precise routine to keep the animals (and the humans) safe.
