2025 Choreo-Lab Fellow Swetha Prabakaran (she/her) brings storytelling, tradition, and innovation into bold conversation through dance. As creator of the “Modern Natya” method and founder of Swetha Prabakaran Productions, Swetha’s work bridges Bharatanatyam and modern dance to amplify South Asian diasporic narratives and champion disability justice. She is a current Voices of Bhakti Fellow and dancer with Urban Jazz Dance Company. We’re honored to welcome her into this year’s Lab. AXIS Artistic Director Nadia Adame is headed to Dance/USA!
