AS A PREFERRED SOURCE FOR COMMODITIES AND SERVICES, NYSID SIMPLIFIES THE PURCHASING PROCESS FOR STATE AGENCIES AND POLITICAL SUBDIVISIONS WHICH ENCOURAGES EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR APPROXIMATELY 5,000 PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES.
