Food Hugs
Our goal is to feed all frontline workers, trauma response workers, food insecure and anyone who just needs a food hug! We are also interested in helping female owned businesses get off the ground and future girl chef scholarships! & #tipbackthursday During COVID and even before, when we could give real hugs anymore- we decided to give people food hugs. This meant feeding weary nurses and doctors, EMT’s, police officers, firefighters, and families who had lost loved ones. We brought them free meals from Food Hugs to life their spirits. We also started #tipbackthursday by surprising local restaurant workers with tips of over $1,000 at a time. We also have a scholarship for females who want to become chefs/restaurant owners.
