SAVE WEYERHAEUSER CAMPUS - ADVOCATING A VIBRANT FUTURE FOR AN ICONIC URBAN GREENSPACE

We are advocating responsible development that will preserve, protect & maintain the unique natural features and character of the historic Weyerhaeuser campus, an iconic urban green space in Federal Way, Washington. Instead of proposed industrial development with hundreds of semi-trucks, we advocate a dynamic mix of uses that will benefit the community, be attractive to visitors and provide the new owner with a suitable return on investment. We seek development that meshes with the natural environment, protects wildlife habitat and crucial watershed forest, preserves miles of nature trails used by the public for nearly 50 years, and guarantees the futures of the globally important Rhododendron Species Botanical Garden and the internationally known Pacific Bonsai Museum.

SAVE WEYERHAEUSER CAMPUS Instead of clearcutting trees for warehouses and semitrucks we envision creating a place that complements nature where people can live work learn play. Join our quest for development that preserves the unique character of the campus. Were working to conserve the North Lake shoreline for public enjoyment. Part of the historic Weyerhaeuser campus North Lake is the headwaters of East Hylebos Creek and boasts the longest undeveloped shoreline in South King County.
