Iris is a 1-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier mix who weighs in at a perfect 40 pounds of pure love, fun, and sweetness. She's got just the right mix of spunk and snuggles, and she’s ready to fill your life with joy. Iris is a total sweetheart who loves people and greets everyone with a wagging tail and a playful spirit. She’s always up for an adventure—walks, playtime, exploring the yard—but she’s just as happy to settle in close and soak up all the love you’ve got to give. She’d make a wonderful walking buddy and an even better best friend. She’s shown potential to get along with other dogs, so if you have a pup at home, we’ll schedule a meet and greet to make sure they’re a great match. Iris also passed her cat test and may be curious or playful with feline friends, so any cat roommates would need to be cool with that and get a proper introduction. A securely fenced yard would be a dream come true for this playful girl—she’d love a safe space to run, zoom, and bask in the sunshine. Hi, I’m Bolt! (Yep.. that Bolt. Here we are Wednesday evening in still no applications... ) I’m 2 years old and I’ve been waiting way too long for my forever person. I’m the sweetest cuddle bug you’ll ever meet—but don’t let the snuggles fool you, I also love adventures! Hiking? Yes please. Splashing in water? So fun. Playing fetch in the yard? That’s my jam. But my favorite thing? Being close to you. I’ve got a crooked little tail, a cute underbite, and the wiggliest butt when I’m happy (which is… most of the time). I like other dogs, but I do get a little jealous when it comes to sharing your love. My volunteer friend that I'm staying with says that I'm getting much better though.
