SUMMIT ASSISTANCE DOGS
Summit Assistance Dogs is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that creates life-changing partnerships by providing highly-skilled mobility service dogs for people living with disabilities. Summit carefully selects and trains dogs to assist with tasks that allow their partners to lead lives of greater independence. By assisting clients with tasks such as retrieving items, opening and closing doors, turning switches on and off, and tugging off clothing, our dogs allow their partners to expand their journey through life with greater independence and confidence. Perhaps more importantly, our dogs help diminish any depression, anxiety, and loneliness by providing unconditional love and companionship.
