EDUCATING Africa's own EXPERTS 3. RAISING AWARENESS of the lightning hazard 4. PROVIDING timely WARNINGS to populations affected by lightning 5. DOCUMENTING the lightning injury DEMOGRAPHICS in each country 6. PROVIDING local and regional TRAINING of lightning protection specialists 7. ENCOURAGING RESEARCH 8.
