The Austin Civic Wind Ensemble is a gathering of adult musicians enjoying the challenge of a high-quality repertoire. Austin's oldest community band. We provide Austin and Central Texas with free public concerts throughout the year. "In tune with Austin since 1975." The mission of the band is twofold: to provide an ensemble for Austin area musicians who want to pursue music performance as a hobby, and to bring public performances of great concert band literature to the Austin Area.
