Southwest Research NP
To conduct Threatened and Endangered Wildlife Species Recovery Projects. To conduct multi-year biological assessments for several species that may be affected or adversely affected by permits projects or other groundwork conducted on federal lands administered by the BLM Moab Field Office in the state of Utah Grand and San Juan County. Biological surveys consist of surveys habitat assessment surveys informal population presence surveys and nest monitoring principally for spotted owls.
