Horse Enthusiast Adaptive Riding Therapy
H.E.A.R.T. is a nonprofit organzation dedicated to helping individuals with special needs. Using equine facilitated activities we build strength, independence and self confidence to enhance the physical, emotional and social well being of these individuals. The vision for H.E.A.R.T. is to provide an equine facilitated program that gives children with disabilities a positive outlook on their future. The H.E.A.R.T. vision is to have steady and consistent growth with the objective of safely allowing individuals to ride horse back to improve muscle tone, balance and coordination. Communication skills can also improve through the direct contact with the horse and assistance from the instructor. We believe in ability not disability.
