Tibetan Education Foundation Building Our Bright Future One Child At A Time Learn More Providing educational opportunities to the youth of rural East Tibet. Despite more than 1300 years of iconic literary historyTibet now has the highest rate of illiteracy in all of China. On top of that Tibet has the lowest amount of educational spending per household and by far the least amount of schools. The barriers to education are tremendous.
