Amcha (www.amcha.org) has been the pioneering social service agency, since 1987, reaching out to help survivors of the Holocaust, and their families, including the children of survivors.Applying the experience gained from such pioneering work, Amcha has become one of the world's leading experts in the rehabilitation and treatment of war-related post traumatic stress disorder (PSTD).In addition to its programs to help survivors and their families, due to circumstances necessitated by terrorist attacks, this expertise is being utilized in Israel today to assist other victims of trauma such as 'first responders'.
